Integrated Family Preservation Program

josieandmomExcelsior’s Integrated Family Preservation (IFP) and Integrated Family Stabilization (IFS) programs work with youth (ages 0-18) and their families to build upon strengths to improve the overall mental health and well-being of the family system. Individual, group and family services are delivered in home- and community-based environments in order to reduce family conflict, reduce child behavior problems and prevent out-of-home placement and/or help youth transition successfully back into the home. Both programs are time-limited and goal-oriented with limited objectives.

Integrated Family Preservation Program

The IFP program is a 90-180 day program that focuses on building successful families and maintaining youth in their homes. This program can be a continuation from the Family Stabilization program or may be applied to youth and families who are at risk, but not in crisis. This program can be applied to all types of families including biological, kinship, placement and/or foster families.
