What We Do

What We Do

Specializing in a wide range of mental and behavioral healthcare services, Excelsior strengthens and educates at-risk youth ages 0-24, and their families. Excelsior’s individualized programming is designed to reach youth early, preserve the family unit and achieve positive, lasting change. We give young people the tools, as well as the courage, to strive for a different and better tomorrow.

Utilizing a wraparound care approach, Excelsior’s team addresses behavioral, mental and social challenges while establishing sustainable systems of support to empower families to succeed together. Our network of responsive community-based service helps youth achieve lasting success by strengthening the entire family with innovative treatments and solutions.

Why Community-Based?

Our community-based system of care is designed to treat youth earlier, involve the entire family, and foster positive and stabilizing influences in the community – three factors that have been proven to lead to the most lasting success for vulnerable youth and families.

Additionally, our community-based services increase accessibility to mental and behavioral healthcare for youth and families that need it. By providing services in the home and community, we eliminate the need for youth and families to travel to us which is especially beneficial for those lacking transportation. Also, providing in-home services enables us to expand our service area to reach underserved populations and regions where these services are limited.
